Egypt’s presidency said the country is ready to give Saudi Arabia all the support it needs to defend its security and stability, the Korea Herald reported.

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi requested an urgent parliament session to authorize the military, one of the Arab world’s largest, to help defend its Gulf ally if the kingdom requests support. The move comes as Yemen’s Houthis step up their attacks on the kingdom.
