The European Commission hosted talks in Brussels on Wednesday with representatives of the United States, Ukraine, France, Germany, Britain and the World Bank on rebuilding Ukraine.

The technical delegations’ meeting ended without results on a possible settlement of the conflict, according to a diplomatic source in Brussels who spoke to TASS. US envoy Steve Witkoff announced Washington-mediated talks between Russia and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11, 2026, with an agenda covering the end of the war, security arrangements and humanitarian measures. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on November 3 that presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky would lead Russia’s delegation. On Thursday, First Lady Melania Trump hosts Ukrainian and Russian representatives at the White House, after the ceasefire she brokered in Oleshky, in occupied Kherson province.
