Gen. Eyal Zamir was reportedly the only Israeli security chief to oppose the military action against Iran sought by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz, the Times of Israel reported. Netanyahu and Katz denied plans to fire Zamir before the election, calling the report a “complete fabrication”, the Jerusalem Post reported.
