Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) and the Office of the Prosecutor General charged Yuliya Mendel in absentia, Zelensky’s former spokesperson, with high treason under martial law and with justifying Russia’s actions against Ukraine.

According to the SBU, investigators argue that Mendel used public statements and social media posts to discredit Ukraine on the international stage. She is currently outside the country, and the agency said comprehensive measures are being taken to bring her to justice.
