The United States military destroyed an Iranian-affiliated dhow in the Gulf of Oman on Wednesday, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced.

According to CENTCOM, the vessel was targeted after being observed conducting surveillance and targeting US Navy ships. The crew was safely removed before the dhow was destroyed, and repatriation efforts are ongoing, CENTCOM said.
