Germany's federal prosecutors confirmed on Thursday the arrest of a Ukrainian man identified as Vadym Y. in the state of Brandenburg, 85 km west of Berlin, on suspicion of spying for Russia.
According to DW World, the suspect allegedly used his connections to European defense firms to gather information, which he passed on to a Russian intelligence agency.
