An Israeli settler was filmed shouting at and assaulting a Palestinian child during an attack on a family east of Yatta, in the occupied West Bank, where settler violence has surged in recent years, according to Al Jazeera.

On Wednesday, the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court extended the remand of a suspect arrested on suspicion of involvement in settler attacks in the West Bank over the weekend, including attacks against a Washington Post photojournalist and European diplomats, according to the Times of Israel. The suspect, Nadav Cohen Tzemach, has a documented history of violence against Palestinians in the West Bank but has never been charged with any crimes, according to the same outlet.
