The US State Department ordered on Wednesday (10/21) the departure of non-essential government employees and their families from US diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia, according to Opera Mundi.

State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott justified the move by saying the Houthis had intensified hostilities against Riyadh, including attacks on civilian airports and other critical infrastructure that caused casualties and disrupted air travel.
