The death toll in Saturday’s stampede in Kolkata, in eastern India, rose to 19, with 25 injured people receiving treatment in different hospitals and one in critical condition, according to Xinhua.

Around 10 people, including organizers and private security personnel, were detained by Kolkata Police for questioning, according to the same agency.
