Kim Jong-un returned to North Korea overland on Saturday after visiting a Korean War memorial in Dandong, on the border with China, and crossed a newly inaugurated bridge between the two countries, a gesture seen as symbolizing Beijing's and Pyongyang's effort to expand bilateral trade ties, according to G1.

North Korean state media described the bond as “unbreakable”, and Kim thanked the Chinese people, who helped “our revolution with blood”, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
