The Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (ARDA) has delivered more than 187,000 metric tons of summer cereals and 60,529 metric tons of winter wheat to the Grain Marketing Board, according to 263Chat, in a report republished by AllAfrica.
The authority also aims to cultivate 100,000 hectares in the 2026/27 summer season. Agriculture Minister Anxious Masuka said Zimbabwe is “almost 100 percent certain” to have below-normal rainfall, and that the warming of the central South Pacific associated with El Niño is expected to exceed three degrees Celsius.
