Cristina Kirchner did not rule out running for Argentina’s presidency in 2027 against Javier Milei, provided she can overturn the lifetime ban on holding public office handed down in the Vialidad case. She summed up the condition: “When I recover my political rights, why not?”.

The six-year prison sentence and the lifetime ban have already been upheld by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
