Former US President Barack Obama said in Belfast that Israel took land from Palestinians and was excessive, and that those people understandably said that this was injustice and that they wanted their land back.

Elsewhere, Obama said that, if the attitude of Israel is that, now that it is the strongest and the most technologically advanced in the region, its security will depend on simply doing whatever it needs.
