The caretaker head of Iran’s oil ministry, Hamid Bovard, said in Moscow that broad agreements on gas exchange between Iran and Russia had reached the final stages, according to the Mehr News Agency.

The initial transfer volume was estimated at around 1.8 billion cubic meters per year, and the project’s potential capacity in subsequent phases at up to 55 billion cubic meters annually, according to the same agency.
