Elon Musk last week ordered the slowdown of a military-grade version of Starlink used by Ukraine, according to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), in an account published by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) citing US officials and people familiar with the matter.

The restriction hampered Ukrainian attack and air-defence drone missions against Russia, according to the account. Musk and US President Donald Trump discussed the decision in a call soon after the slowdown became public, while the president was campaigning last week.
