Gaza’s Interior and National Security Ministry said this Sunday that five police officers and personnel were killed in an Israeli airstrike while carrying out their regular duties in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza, in a report by the Saba news agency.

Israeli strikes killed at least eight Palestinians, including the five police officers, in two separate attacks on Sunday, according to medics and the Hamas-run interior ministry, Reuters reported.
