The Houthis said on Saturday they attacked Aden, the interim seat of the Saudi-backed government, with military spokesman Yahya Saree saying the targets were what he called “Saudi enemy” concentrations at the Al-Nasr camp and the city’s naval base.

Earlier, the Saudi-led coalition said it had intercepted two missiles targeting Taif and Yanbu in the kingdom’s west. According to the Houthis, a separate strike on a residential building for cement factory workers in the Sanaa governorate killed six women and one child and wounded three other people. The US updated travel advisories for the Gulf and the wider Middle East, citing what it described as the threat of “regional aggression” by Iran-aligned Houthis.
