Venezuela's acting president, Delcy Rodríguez, said María Corina Machado “could have spared herself this show” and that “the airports are there”, referring to the opposition leader's return; Machado had been in exile and came back to the country on Sunday (25).
Rodríguez also said other beneficiaries of the amnesty law had been able to enter through airport facilities, according to Le Monde. Machado's spokesperson, Claudia Macero, said the opposition leader is willing to sit at the table with Rodríguez and with anyone else she must talk to, publicly, transparently and with a precise program.
