With more than 99 percent of Tuesday's ballots tallied, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc held 53 seats and the opposition bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot held 48, Israeli outlet Haaretz reported, according to Al Jazeera.
The Arab list parties held a combined 19 seats in the 120-member Knesset. Neither bloc reached the 61 seats required for a parliamentary majority, CNN reported.
