The administration of US President Donald Trump approved a proposed $2.1 billion sale of Patriot air defense interceptors for Ukraine on Friday, after Kyiv accused the Pentagon of delaying delivery of the munition, the Associated Press (AP) reported.

The State Department approved the potential sale of 500 Patriot air defense interceptor missiles to Ukraine on Friday, CNN reported.
