Protesters in New Delhi carried a one-kilometer banner bearing the names of people removed from India’s voter rolls, in a fresh opposition rally against the deletion of nearly 130 million names, according to Al Jazeera.

In Karnataka, the final list released on October 27, 2026, recorded 4.54 crore electors (about 45.4 million), against 5.54 crore before the revision (55.4 million), a reduction of nearly 99.76 lakh voters (9.98 million), according to the Times of India.
