China's imports of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) rose 44.3% year over year in January-September, reaching 7.19 million metric tons, according to TASS, citing data from China's General Administration of Customs.

In September, China doubled its LNG imports from Russia compared with August to 1.85 million metric tons, and the value rose 2.2-fold to $1.18 billion.
