The Yemeni army said more than 200 Houthi fighters were killed or wounded in fighting in Taiz province in the country’s southwest, according to Middle East Eye.

In a Facebook statement, the Taiz Military Axis said fighting continued throughout Wednesday on the Dhubab front west of Taiz city and on the al-Aqrud and al-Shaqab fronts to the south. The Houthis say they took prisoner more than 700 soldiers of the government army during the clashes in Taiz province, according to TASS.
