Yashar party chairman Gadi Eisenkot ruled out joining a government led by Benjamin Netanyahu, refusing even if US President Donald Trump personally asked him to, according to public broadcaster KAN; at a closed-door meeting he said he would not sit in a government led by Netanyahu, while opposition leaders Naftali Bennett, Yair Golan and Avigdor Liberman announced they would recommend Eisenkot to President Isaac Herzog to form a government.
