Russian President Vladimir Putin relieved Andrei Kelin of his post as ambassador to Britain, a position he had held since November 2019, in a decree published on Friday, September 25, 2026, according to TASS.

The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed the end of Kelin's planned tenure and said Putin will name a replacement “in due course,” according to The Moscow Times.
