Vladimir Putin said Russia is not preparing for any kind of hostilities with Europe and that Moscow has no real motive to escalate tensions with European countries, according to the Hindustan Times.

According to him, proposals to resume negotiations with Ukraine are on the table, but the steps to take in response to the Ukrainian attacks will be given careful thought.
