Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein noted the importance of international efforts to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East, according to the Russian state news agency TASS.

Lavrov concluded his series of meetings at the U.N. General Assembly with talks with the deputy chairman of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council.
