Russia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) put turnout in the State Duma elections at 59.8%, with 67,448,094 ballots cast, TASS reports, citing commission chairwoman Ella Pamfilova.

United Russia took 349 seats — 140 in the federal district and 209 in single-member constituencies — Sputnik Globe reports from the same count, below the earlier projection of around 355 seats noted by The Moscow Times.
