Dozens of delegates walked out of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly hall as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took the stage on Thursday, 24 September 2026, in a protest caught on video.

In the address that followed, Netanyahu defended Israel’s military campaigns in Iran, Gaza and elsewhere in the Middle East, rejected the accusation of genocide and said the country would keep fighting: “We’re going to win. We have no other choice.”
