Forty-one US lawmakers called on Secretary of State Mark Rubio to press Israel for the release of Palestinian healthcare workers, according to Middle East Eye.

The letter, led by Representatives Mark Pocan and Mike Quigley, says the detainees are being held arbitrarily, without formal charges or due process. According to the letter, the detentions do further harm to Gaza’s devastated healthcare and erode access to care in the occupied West Bank.
