Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov handed United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres a Russian report on the alleged falsification of the events in Bucha, on the sidelines of the General Assembly, and asked the UN Secretariat to examine the case in detail, according to the Russian state news agency TASS, which cited the Russian foreign ministry.

According to TASS, the report attributes the episode to Ukraine and its North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) sponsors. The UN has not confirmed the handover of the document, and the accusation comes from the Russian side.
