Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said on Monday that in the event of a new US attack it will introduce “new weapons with new capabilities” to the battlefield and hit targets not yet attacked, according to AP; the force says it is prepared for a “prolonged war”.

Iran’s top negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said, according to the Tasnim news agency, that Tehran sent Qatar a list of seven conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and Mohsen Rezaei told Al Jazeera they include an end to the war on all fronts, the release of frozen funds and an end to the naval blockade.
