Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti, Saleh bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan, called on the kingdom’s soldiers to be ready to lay down their lives fighting the Iran-backed Houthis until the group is ousted from power, Al-Monitor reported, citing Reuters.

The statement came after weeks of escalation, with Houthi missile and drone salvos against Saudi Arabia and Saudi retaliation with airstrikes.
