The International Criminal Court (ICC) has insulated itself against United States sanctions, deputy prosecutor Nazhat Shameem Khan told the Financial Times, in a Reuters text republished by WIMZ.

The court moved its office software from Microsoft to the German open-source alternative openDesk and found workarounds for health insurance and banking, and began paying employees months in advance to mitigate payroll disruption. Donald Trump’s administration has prepared sanctions against the entire court and plans to announce them soon.
