Ukraine’s General Staff said units of the Defense Forces struck the Ilsky oil refinery, in the Ilsky district of Krasnodar Krai, in Russia, on the night of September 26, and that a fire broke out at the facility.

Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratiev confirmed that drones attacked the Seversky district, where the refinery is located, and said there were fatalities and one person seriously injured. The General Staff described the refinery as a facility that fuels Moscow’s war effort in Ukraine.
