The official count of U.S. casualties in the Iran war has passed 850, after another 66 service members were wounded in action this month alone, according to The Intercept.

The Pentagon added dozens of wounded troops to its online tally, reaching 794 wounded in action through 4 September, after fighting resumed, according to Task & Purpose.
