In a pre-trial settlement, TikTok will pay Alabama at least $100 million, due to the state within 45 days, a sum that could reach $300 million if certain conditions are met, according to Le Monde, with Agence France-Presse (AFP).

The agreement also sets two-hour daily time limits and restricts access for children from midnight to 6:00 am. The company will pay $100 million in restitution and remediation, according to AP News, in a text republished by Local 10.
