The Dnipro steelmaker Interpipe Steel halted production after an overnight Russian strike killed four of its employees, according to the Kyiv Independent and TASS.

The Ukrainian company said production equipment and infrastructure were damaged and that it is assessing how long the shutdown will last. Russia's Defense Ministry said the same day it carried out a mass strike on metallurgical and chemical plants and on fuel and energy facilities, including the plant. Interpipe employs around 9,500 people and exports to more than 50 countries, and its products become fuselage, propulsion and wing components for long-range drones, according to TASS.
