The Saudi-led coalition said early Saturday it had intercepted two ballistic missiles and two drones launched by Houthis towards the kingdom, according to Reuters, in a text republished by the Express Tribune.

The coalition said in posts on X that the missiles were headed towards Khamis Mushait and the drones towards the capital, Riyadh. Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi condemned the attacks as a violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a direct threat to civilian safety and regional stability, according to SANA.
