Houthi-run al-Masirah television said Saudi warplanes struck a public market and a school in Dhubab district in southwestern Yemen on Monday, killing at least one person, according to China’s Xinhua news agency.

Dhubab lies south of the Red Sea port of Mocha and near the Bab al-Mandab Strait, where the Houthis have seized coastal areas this month. Middle East Eye published footage released by the group that the Houthis say shows the strike; Saudi Arabia has not commented. Yemen’s Saudi-backed army says its air campaign along the same coastal strip targets Houthi fighters and equipment.
